What the Player Stats Mean

Player Stats shows every player's fantasy production and the work behind it, over the season or his team's last five, three or one games.

How It Works

Fantasy gives points in your scoring, his rank at the position, his best and worst games, and how often he finished as a starter (top 12 QB or TE, top 24 RB or WR) or a top week.

Usage is opportunity, which predicts points better than efficiency does: his share of the snaps, carries, targets and air yards (how far downfield his targets went), weighted opportunity (WOPR), and looks inside the 20 and the 10. xFP is what those touches usually score; vs xFP is the luck beside it.

Efficiency is expected points added per play (EPA) and success rate, a play that gained enough for its down. CPOE is completions above what the throws' difficulty predicts.

NFL: nflverse, NFL Next Gen Stats for separation and yards over expected, and Sleeper's snap counts. College: CollegeFootballData's box scores and play-by-play; snap counts aren't free, so shares of touches stand in.

Keep in Mind

A game or three is a small sample. Next Gen Stats list only qualifying players each week, so some cells are blank.

When It Updates

Four times a day, around 5:30 and 11:30 AM and PM Eastern; during a week in progress, the games already played count.
