Values & Busts — the picks that beat their slot, and the ones that sank
Every pick against where the player actually finished. Finish vs Pick = draft slot minus end-of-season rank: + = finished better than where he was taken (a value), - = worse (a bust). Consensus ADP (FantasyPros PPR, averaged across ESPN/Sleeper/Yahoo/CBS/NFL) and ADP Value (pick minus ADP, + = taken later than consensus) are on each row as draft-day context. By Position does the same on positional ranks, which is the fairer comparison across positions: an overall finish always favors quarterbacks.
Players who played fewer than 5 games and finished below their ADP are left out: a season lost to injury says nothing about the pick. Each season notes who was dropped.

Not how well each manager drafts — that's the Manager Draft Report — but how they draft. Positional timing, early-round shape, how much of the result came down to players simply staying on the field, and what the championship drafts had in common.

Health-Adjusted Drafting - separating bad picks from hurt ones
Every hit rate on this page is really two things at once: whether the pick was any good, and whether they stayed on the field. This section separates them, and weighs each absence the way the homepage's injury tables do rather than counting every missed week the same. Weeks Lost counts the weeks in the first 13 where a drafted player recorded no stat line. High-Impact Weeks Lost are the ones that belonged to a pick from the first 2 rounds, or to a player scoring at weekly-starter pace (top 25% median weekly points among drafted players at his position that season). Est. Pts Lost prices every absence at the player's median week. Healthy Hit % is the hit rate counting only picks active at least 11 of 13 weeks — how good the picks were when they were actually available, which is the part a manager controls.

Colin's picks cost an estimated 945 points in absences (21 of 81 weeks lost were high-impact) against 515 for Jackson — none of it a drafting decision. Adjusting for availability puts Colin on top at 73%.
Jackson loses the most, sliding from 4th to 7th — only 48 weeks lost meant there was little bad luck inflating their raw number to begin with; Max gains the most, 8th to 5th. What it does not do is close the field up: the gap between best and worst widens from 32 points to 43. Bad luck explains a lot of the middle of this table and none of the bottom of it.
What this does and doesn't measure. Weeks lost counts absences of every kind — injury, benching, a release — not injuries specifically. The league's weekly injury reports (data/injuries) can't fill that gap: they list players ruled Out week by week, and a player lost for the season drops off the report entirely, so they undercount the absences that matter most. Nick Chubb's two-game 2023 and Brandon Aiyuk's lost 2025 appear nowhere in them. Weeks active catches both.
Champion Blueprint - how the title winners drafted
Champions taken from Sleeper's playoff bracket, then measured against everyone else who drafted that same year. Starter Hit % is the share of a manager's picks that finished inside their position's weekly starter pool (top 10 QB / 24 RB / 24 WR / 10 TE for a 10-team, 2-flex league). Weeks Lost / Pick is how many of the 13 weeks the average pick spent inactive. Avg Finish vs Pick = draft position minus fantasy finish (+ = picks outperformed their slots); Avg ADP Value = pick minus consensus ADP — draft-day context, not an outcome.

Across all 3 titles the champion beat the field's hit rate 3 of 3 times and got more finish out of their draft slots 2 of 3 times, but only led the field in draft-day value against ADP 2 of 3 times. On this sample, titles track picks that worked more than picks that looked like bargains on draft day — though three seasons cannot separate that from simple luck.
Health is not the explanation. The champion's picks were the healthier group in only 1 of 3 seasons, and 2025-2026's winner took the title with their picks missing 4.3 weeks apiece against the field's 2.1.
