How the Live Fantasy Hub Works

Live shows each play in your players' games moments after it happens, with what it was worth to the players you or your opponent have.

How It Works

The plays come from ESPN's play-by-play, read by your browser. A new play usually shows within half a minute.

The points use your league's own scoring. We keep each player's running stat line for the game and price it before and after the play; the difference is what the play was worth. A bonus, such as 100 rushing yards, lands on the play that reaches it.

The totals at the top are your league's own, from Sleeper, ESPN or Yahoo, so they always match your league.

Whose players: yours are green, your opponent's are marked Opp, and bench players say so. My Players shows only plays they are in; All Plays shows everything in their games.

Keep in Mind

≈ marks a play we price less surely: fumbles, kick returns, safeties, two-point tries, and kickers and defenses in ESPN leagues. Stat corrections reach your league's total first, so play values may not add up to it exactly.

When It Updates

Every 20 to 30 seconds while a game is on. It stops while the tab is in the background.

For the Curious

Tested on a finished NFL game, pricing every play this way matched Sleeper's own totals to the cent for every rostered player. A team defense moves on every score against it, because points allowed is scored in steps. The page leans on a feed ESPN does not document, so it could change without notice.
