Strength rates how many fantasy points each defense gives up to each position, and schedule difficulty shows how many wins each team's schedule has cost or given it.
How it works
Defense vs position: 1.00 is average. A defense at 1.20 has allowed 20% more than usual to that position: one to attack. NFL figures come from Sleeper in this league's scoring; college ones from ESPN box scores in the Yahoo league's scoring, against what each offense was expected to score. Under five games, a defense is pulled toward 1.00.
Schedule ahead: the next six weeks of opponents for your players, each weighted by his projection. Byes are left out.
Schedule difficulty compares your actual wins with what your scores would have earned playing every team every week (all-play), so −1.5 means the schedule has cost you a win and a half. It splits into opponent strength (did you face high scorers?) and timing (did you meet them on their big weeks?).
Keep in mind
Defense numbers swing a lot on a few games. The NFL figures aren't adjusted for the offenses each defense faced. The median game is left out of schedule difficulty, since no schedule changes it.
When it updates
Four times a day, around 5:30 and 11:30 AM and PM Eastern, as games finish.
